Toronto 2024 Registration Now Open
To register for the 2024 conference in Toronto, click here. Regular registration for the Toronto conference is $250; reduced registration for students, retirees, and independent scholars is $125. An additional fee will be charged for on-site registration.
In order to register for the conference, you must be a member of the Sixteenth Century Society. To join the Society, click here. (Note that attendees of the 2023 conference in Baltimore are already members of the Society.)
Please be aware that there may be a two- to three-day lag time between the time you join the Society and when you are able to register. We appreciate your patience as we upload new members into the registration system.
When you register for the conference, be sure to enter the email address that is associated with your Sixteenth Century Society membership. Your membership will be validated automatically.
In addition to registering for the conference, you can also book your hotel reservation at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, the conference venue, at the conference rate of $335 CAD/night. Note that this rate is in Canadian dollars and is available until the cutoff date of Oct. 7, 2024. To book your room, click here.

Conference Registration and Society Membership
All conference participants must also be members of the Sixteenth Century Society. To join the Society, click here. Membership includes a one-year subscription to The Sixteenth Century Journal.
The Sixteenth Century Society is a not-for-profit scholarly organization that receives no governmental or institutional funding. Thus, participants or their sponsoring institutions or organizations will need to fund travel and lodging expenses in addition to the conference registration fee.
